About Helen
My love for aesthetics started long ago. I have always been intrigued with how to best care for the skin. I went back to school in 2004, to acquire my Full License in Aesthetics from the Aveda Institute in St. Petersburg, Florida. I worked in some of the top Aveda Salon/Spas in St. Augustine and Jacksonville, from 2004-2007. In January 2007, I opened up my own Day Spa in Jacksonville Beach, at The Body Gallery. We were the first spa at the Beaches to offer Organic Skin Care at the time. Since then my 3 partners and I have moved into our own facility called Renaissance Healing Center. The Healing Center has now been open 1 year(JUNE 2009).
A variety of skin care methods are available from Helen, our professional aesthetician. Skin analysis and consultation are included in all treatments.

| Stress Relief Facial |
The facial starts with aromatherapy, followed by hot towels and steam. A skin analysis is performed, followed by the application of an appropriate mask. Hand massaging with jojoba based oils help the soothing process. Extractions are done if needed, with a relaxing neck and decollate massage. A final mask is applied for calming and centering. |

| Deep Pore Cleansing Facial |
This technique also starts with aromatherapy, and a cleansing and toning and skin analysis. Steam is used to warm the skin before the extractions and then an herbal clay masque is applied to help draw out impurities. Warm towels are applied for soothing and calming the skin and then a foot or scalp massage is chosen for the final service. |

| Signature Facial |
This personalized facial is specifically designed to fit client’s skin care needs. Aromatherapy is used to start the procedure followed by a cleansing and toning. Steam and a specialized mask is applied, followed by a hand massage. A final mask, designed to compliment skin type, follows some upper body massage. A scalp treatment (pressure point head massage with jojoba oils and a warm towel wrap) concludes this hallmark treatment. |

| Mini Facial |
This facial is for the busy lady on the go. It consists of a cleansing, toning, and skin analysis. A mask is applied while steaming, and then a hand massage with jojoba oils is administered. Aromatherapy is used to sooth and refresh. |

| Body Polish/Head to Toe Glow |
A complete body exfoliation is performed with exfoliating gloves and then sea salts are combined with jojoba oils, and applied to the body. Warm aromatic towels are used to remove the salts and dead skin cells. A light massage technique with a moisturizing body cream is used to hydrate and nourish the skin. |

| Deep Cleansing Back Facial |
First, the back is thoroughly cleansed and toned and then a skin analysis is performed. Steam is applied to the back along with a light exfoliation scrub. Aromatic oils are massaged into the back, which helps with relaxation. An herbal clay masque is applied, followed by warm towels. A replenishing moisturizer is applied to hydrate the skin. |
